To celebrate Farm to School Month and the end of the harvest season, our Tiny Titans in Hoople had special guest visitors for our baked potato lunch this afternoon!
Local potato growers were invited in for lunch and our students were able to ask them questions, talk all things potatoes and learn about how the potatoes we were enjoying at lunch came straight from their fields! It was a fun and an educational lunch for all!
Thank you to our special guests for sharing your time and enthusiasm for Farm To School month with our students:
Karen Anderson, Janne Myrdal, David Hurtt, David Fedje, Brad Nilson, Tom Nilson, Krissy Schulz, Jackson Hall, Katie Hall, Jeff Olson, Thomas Shepard and Jacey Kuersteiner from Northland Potato Growers Association

Today, we came together to celebrate Unity Day, a national event dedicated to promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion, while standing up against bullying. Students and staff wore orange to show their support for this important cause and to remind everyone that we’re united in creating a welcoming and safe environment for all. 💪💬
🧡 We saw incredible acts of kindness and support for one another today amongst our Preschool-6th grade students! We had discussions before our walk on how we can continue to work on doing the right thing when no one is watching and to stand up for kindness to all!
